Below are the Terms & Conditions of Mobile Remaps, the trading name of Motor-Stream Limited. These are intended to form a binding contract between us and you, our Client, as governed by the law of England and Wales. In proceeding with your remap you acknowledge and accept the following points within these Terms & Conditions. We: " Provide you with a 14 day money back guarantee from the date of your ECU remap install. If you call upon this guarantee, your car's original ECU map will be reinstalled on your car and we reserve the right to apply a fee to cover our time, fuel costs and services provided up to that point for you. Please note that a money back guarantee is NOT provided where the sole objective is to increase MPG from a remap, as MPG gains cannot be guaranteed. " Provide a lifetime guarantee on the stability of your ECU remap. By this we mean your ECU remap will not reset itself or modify itself in any shape or form unless outside interference [human intervention] occurs. " Will retain a copy of your car's original ECU map for your specific vehicle on our systems. Should your manufacturer or service garage accidentally wipe your ECU remap, we will for a small admin fee, re-install your chosen ECU remap. " Will undertake a diagnostic check of your vehicle's engine prior to your ECU remap. All faults, whether determined or pending will be raised for your attention prior to proceeding with any ECU remap on your vehicle. You: " Accept all power/torque gains from your ECU remap are approximate, as are the actual figures of your engine's quoted power and torque figures from your car manufacturer. " Accept the fuel efficiency of your vehicle after a remap depends on a number of factors including but not limited to: outside temperature, driving style, tyre pressures, and regular and correct service maintenance of your vehicle. " Accept any determined or pending faults found relating to your car's engine during its diagnostic check should be fixed before it is remapped and Mobile Remaps is not liable for any costs you incur to fix such faults. " Accept any power and torque increase to your car's engine will accelerate the rate of wear of serviceable and mechanical items which can range from items including but not limited to clutch, flywheels, turbos, injectors and brake pads. By requesting Mobile Remaps tune your engine for increased torque and power, you are solely responsible for all costs associated with such wear and tear and Mobile Remaps is not liable in any form for any costs incurred by you. " Accept Mobile Remaps is not responsible for paying for your fuel and have the right to charge additional funds to cover the expense of putting fuel in your car in order to have it remapped. " Accept it is your responsibility to inform your insurance company of your car's ECU remap. " Accept if it is not possible to remap your vehicle due it being remapped previously or for any other reason, a call out fee of £25+VAT in addition to a minimum service fee of £35+VAT will be charged to cover our time, fuel expenses and services provided up to that point. " Accept Mobile Remaps will charge a call out fee of £25+VAT in addition to an hourly labour fee (or part therein) of £35+VAT for any services not directly related to remapping and which restrict Mobile Remaps from performing its core business of engine tuning.
