ECU remapping insurance
A nice surprise from your vehicle insurance company...
As ecu remapping and chip tuning alters the manner in which a vehicle delivers its engine performance, engine remappnig and tuning is therefore technically a vehicle
modification. As such, it is your responsibility to inform your vehicle insurer of that modification.
Having said the above, as we discussed within the benefits of remapping insurance companies do tend to appreciate the benefits of and reasons for having your vehicle
engine tuned for enhanced power torque and economy.
In our experience our custmoers have spoken favourably about their experience when disclosing to their insurance provider they had car remapped for power, economy
