Is remapping safe?

Professional remapping will always be done within the safe parameters of your vehicle’s engine and will not be the direct cause of a hardware mechanical component failure. It needs to be said however that any increase in power and torque can highlight existing issues inherent with your vehicle that are part of the normal wear and tear cycle of service items on your car and which were not immediately obvious prior to your vehicle’s engine being tuned. It also needs to be mentioned that you get what you pay for in this industry and there is a very good reason why low cost remaps are cheap. Don’t risk the reliabiliy of your car for the sake of a few pounds. Finally, many garages already use Mobile Remaps to tune their customer’s cars. Perhaps you should too!
